This adventure founded the JUSTICE LEAGUE itself. First of all, Batman meets Green Lantern during a chase on a uniedentified monster before finding a strange device placed by it. They go to Superman to see if he understands,Superman has experienced the same suprise and thinks that Batman and Green Lantern are also monster,here begins the greatest superhero battle in history. Later in the battle The Flash joins he fight against Superman. Eventually, Batman stops the fighting. Meanwhile Cyborg becomes Cyborg due to alien radiation from an identical device, just like Batman's and Superman's. Soon enough, Wonder Woman turns up claiming to have saved the president from the same monters. Eventually a tower emerges from the sea with the evil mastrmind Darkseid. They must put their differences aside to save the world.
David Graves was a mentor to John Constantine, also Zatanna's lover, he was the world top magician before his obsession with the Books of Magic led to a dark path. After discovering Constantine and Zatanna are romantically involved he tries to kill them, but ends up having his soul sent to hell. David is resurrected through a pact with Felix Faust and resumes both the search for the books and the revenge against the ones who betrayed him.
Lex Luthor and his league of doom plan to melt the Polar ice caps but Robin crashes his spacecraft into Lex's satelite. Lex Luthor is frozen but he's back in the 29'th century to change the fabric of time.
